Sensations
Sensations refer to the perceptions or experiences that a person undergoes through the senses, such as sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. These perceptions can include a wide range of physical and emotional sensations, such as pain, pleasure, cold, heat, disgust, joy, sadness, among others. Sensations are a fundamental part of the human experience and play an important role in how we perceive and understand the world around us.
Occasionally, we find it difficult to be in touch with our sensations. How can we become more attuned to physical sensations and listen to the messages our body sends us?
Here I share some words about sensations. I invite you to read the list. Is there any that you identify with? Does any part of your body feel any of these ways at this precise moment?

Exercise:
Choose a word that resonates with you in this present moment. Do you have pain in your knee? Does your body feel tense? Are you more alert to your sensations? If so, you have just engaged in a mindfulness practice. The next step would be self-care. It's the action after identifying the needs of your body and mind.
