Most conversations about the workplace result in employees being burnt-out due to excessive tasks, assuming many roles at the same time, lack of recognition and resources among other factors. There’s a less-discussed condition that comes from the opposite direction called boreout and it can be just as exhausting and as damaging to mental health.
